The Star Destroyer was commissioned by the Engineering Corps in M31.040 as a prototype mobile mining carrier designed to harvest dead planets. The main cannon was capable of cracking open planetary mantles, exposing valuable minerals underneath. The ship, crew and accompanying escorts disappeared in a freak warp storm during its shakedown cruise. The ship appeared in its corrupted form 500 years later, overhauled and equipped with all kinds of infernal weaponry. However the vessel was never designed to be a warship and is woefully underpowered in the maneuvering department, making it vulnerable to flanking attacks. It now serves as the flagship of Vice Admiral Stukov, an infested Terran.
