The M1 Imperial Dreadnought was a late entrant to the Pre-Imperial era, a vanity project by an influential Admiral who believed that more guns was always better. It was designed by retrofitting the successful Grand Battleship chassis with 50% more weaponry. This was achieved by sacrificing mobility and armour for a blistering broadside that could destroy all targets in one hit. Some variants sported a supermassive dorsal cannon the size of a medium corvette.
Unfortunately, by sacrificing mobility and armour the few completed Dreadnoughts were slowly whittled away. The passing of centuries and decline of technological throughput meant that repair parts were harder to come by, especially for the overworked and vulnerable Pre-Imperial engines. Now, only a few remain, mothballed and hidden away for archaeological revival.
Version 2 (released 7th April, 2025) features the following:
